Mr. Paz is responsible for the origination, underwriting and management of mezzanine and equity investments throughout the Northeast and serves as the fund manager for Stonehenge’s Connecticut-focused funds. Prior to joining Stonehenge in 2023, Mr. Paz served as Commercial Credit District Manager for M&T Bank, responsible for leading a team of C&I underwriting professionals in CT, NY, and NJ with a focus on middle market senior debt. Prior to that role, Mr. Paz brings over 20years of experience as a corporate and commercial banker for People’s United Bank, a predecessor bank to M&T Bank, that was headquartered in Bridgeport, CT. Mr. Paz earned a BBA in finance from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. Mr. Paz currently serves as a board member for the Friendship Service Center in New Britain, CT, a not-for-profit providing supportive services and partnership with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
