We are fortunate that Louisiana’s Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) understands and appreciates the impact of the federal historic tax credit in communities throughout Louisiana. We thank Senator Cassidy for his leadership on a bill filed in Congress today that will expand access to the federal historic tax credit. Though the federal historic tax credit is a successful program, improvements included in Senator Cassidy’s HTC-GO Act would maximize the impact and benefits of the program.
